Based on the foundational work of Peter Senge’s Fifth Discipline, numerous acknowledged thought leaders and practitioners, and decades of organizational development consulting, Dr. Gervase Bushe, Professor of Leadership at Simon Fraser University developed Clear Leadership to teach the skills that foster what every organization aspires to be – a learning organization.

Clear Leadership explores concepts and teaches skills in a way that develops leaders from the front line to the board room:


  • Experience: Understanding what it really is, where it matters most, and how crucial it is to develop.
  • Partnership: Where everyone feels responsible for the success of whatever activity you are involved in.
  • Organizational Learning: Finding out what everyone really thinks, what is really going on, and leveraging the collective talents of your team to achieve more than you thought possible, with the resources you already have.

We proudly offer the Clear Leadership program developed by Dr. Gervase R. Bushe.

Gervase is the Professor of Leadership and Organization Development at the Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. Recently voted in the top ten in HR Magazine’s 2017 Most Influential Thinkers, Gervase’s career spans over three decades of transforming organisational structures, culture and processes away from command and control toward more collaborative work systems. He is an award winning author of over 80 papers and three books on organisational change, leadership, teams and teamwork. Clear Leadership has been translated into 6 languages and he has won the prestigious Douglas McGregor award twice for his research papers. He has consulted to blue chip corporations and start-ups, public sector and business corporations, in a variety of sectors. Gervase was also the winner of Roffey Park’s 2017 research competition and his winning paper – Where Organisation Development Thrives.
